The honest truth first
Dropshipping is a real business, not a money machine. Most first products don't sell, and that's normal. Anyone promising you thousands of dollars in your first month is selling a dream. This course teaches you the real version.

Look 01
What is dropshipping?
Understand the whole idea in five minutes.
Dropshipping means you sell a product online without buying it first and without keeping it at home. When someone buys from your store, you buy it from a supplier, and the supplier ships it straight to your customer.
Think of it like…
A lemonade stand where you don't make the lemonade. A customer pays you $5. You run next door, pay the lemonade maker $2, and they hand the lemonade to your customer. You keep the $3 for finding the customer.
How every order works
A customer finds your store (usually from a video or an ad) and buys the product.
The money lands in your payment account.
You order the same product from your supplier, using your customer's address.
The supplier packs it and ships it to your customer. You send the customer the tracking number.
You keep the difference, after paying for ads, fees and the product.
What you actually do all day
You don't pack boxes. Your job is the part the supplier can't do:
Pick good products that people actually want.
Build a store people trust enough to pay.
Get attention with videos and ads.
Look after customers when they have questions or problems.
The good and the not-so-good
The good
The not-so-good
No need to buy stock up front
Profit per sale is smaller than if you bought in bulk
Work from anywhere with internet
Shipping can be slow, and customers hate waiting
Test lots of products cheaply
You don't control product quality, so choose suppliers carefully
Start small, grow step by step
Ads cost money, and many first tests lose a little

Start with US$50–$100, and know where every dollar goes.
You don't need $1,000 to start. The secret is that your first customers come from free videos, not paid ads. Ads come later, paid for by your first profits.

On a small budget, pick a product that costs you $8–$20. The sample stays cheap, and a mistake doesn't hurt much.
Why not just run ads?
$50 of ads usually gets you about 5,000 views, around 60 visitors to your store and 0–2 sales. Zero sales could mean a bad product, a bad video, a bad store or bad luck, and you can't tell which. You'd spend everything and learn nothing.
Think of it like…
Busking before you book a stadium. Play on the street for free first. When a crowd gathers around one song, that's the song you pay to promote.
Money rules to live by
Only use money you can afford to lose. Never rent, school fees or borrowed money.
Set a "stop" number before testing a product, like "$30 and 30 videos, then I decide."
Write down every dollar in your Store Journal: what you spent and what you earned.

Learn what makes a product sell, and how to spot one.
A winning product is one that lots of people want, that you can sell for a good profit, and that makes people say "Whoa, I need that" when they see it.
Think of it like…
A magic trick. The best products make people stop scrolling in the first 2 seconds. If you have to explain it for a whole minute, it's probably not a winner.
The 7 signs of a good product
Wow factor. It looks surprising, fun or clever on video.
Solves a problem or feeds a passion (pets, babies, fitness, holidays, hobbies).
Hard to find in local stores. If Walmart sells it cheap, people will buy it there.
Can sell for 2.5–3× what it costs you. Costs $15, sells for $40+.
Small and light. Cheaper, faster shipping and fewer breakages.
Not fragile, not dangerous. No glass, no liquids, no batteries that can catch fire, no medicine.
Not a brand. Never sell Nike, Disney, Marvel or anything with someone else's logo or character. That's copying and it's illegal.
Where to look
TikTok and Instagram Reels: search things like "TikTok made me buy it", "gadget", "Amazon finds". Look for videos with lots of comments asking "Where do I get this?"
AliExpress: look at products with thousands of orders and good reviews.
The calendar: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's, back to school, summer. Seasonal products sell fast, but only for a short time.
Product scorecard
Tick every box that's true for your product. 6 or more means it's worth testing.
Tick the boxes to see your score.
Real example: the crawling zombie
Let's score the Halloween crawling zombie with glowing LED eyes. Wow factor: yes, glowing eyes look amazing on video at night. Passion: yes, Halloween decorating is a huge hobby. Price: costs about $32, sells for $70. Not a brand: yes, it's a generic zombie. The weak spot is size: it's bulky, so shipping costs more. And it's seasonal, so you only have a few weeks to sell it. Score: about 6 out of 8. Worth testing, but only if you start early enough.

Lots of beginners get excited about sales and forget to check profit. Sales is money that comes in. Profit is money you actually keep.
The profit formula
Profit = Selling price − Product cost − Shipping − Fees − Ad cost per sale
A real example
A Halloween crawling zombie with glowing eyes costs $31.88 from the supplier, with free shipping.
Item
Amount
Customer pays you
$69.99
Product cost
− $31.88
Payment fees (about 5.5% + $0.30)
− $4.15
Profit before ads
$33.96
That last number matters most. Profit before ads is the most you can spend to get one sale and still break even. If you get your sales from free videos, you keep all of it.
Easy pricing rules
Aim for 2.5–3× your cost. Costs $15, sell for $40 or more. That leaves room for fees and, later, ads.
Offer free shipping by building the shipping cost into the price. People hate shipping fees.
Bundles like "Buy 2, save $20" make each order bigger.
Never fake a discount
Don't write "Was $104, now $69" if it was never $104. It's misleading, it breaks consumer laws in the US, and payment companies can shut your account down for it.

Use TikTok to bring people to your store without spending on ads.
TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts show new accounts' videos to strangers for free. That's your ad budget. One video that takes off can bring more sales than $500 of beginner ads.
The 3-part video recipe
Hook (first 2 seconds): something that makes people stop scrolling. "I found the weirdest thing on the internet…"
Show (10–20 seconds): the product doing its "wow" thing. Let it speak for itself.
Tell (last 3 seconds): one clear ask. "Link in bio." "Yes or no?"
Hooks you can copy
"This costs $12 and sells for $40. Here's why."
"POV: your kids see this at night…"
"Don't buy this if you scare easily."
"I tested this so you don't have to."
Your posting plan
Film 10–15 short clips of your sample: unboxing, close-ups, the wow moment, someone reacting.
Post 2–3 videos a day for 2–3 weeks.
Watch which videos get views. 5,000+ views, or comments asking "where do I get this?", is a strong sign.
Make 5 more versions of your best video: same idea, new hooks.
The real cost is patience
Expect 2–4 weeks of daily posting before anything moves. If a product gets nothing after about 30 videos, switch products. You've only lost the price of a sample.

You've got the basics. Here's the full road map.
You now know what dropshipping is, what it costs, how to pick a product, how to check profit and how to get free customers. That's more than most people who "want to start" ever learn.
What you don't have yet is the rest: getting paid from Jamaica, building the store, choosing suppliers, writing a page that sells, running ads safely, handling orders and refunds, and a plan to put it all together.

Black Friday is in
Mentorship is 1-on-1 on Zoom, so I only take a limited number of students at a time. The people who start this week have their store tested and ready before Black Friday and Christmas, the biggest shopping weeks of the year. The people who wait until November are still learning while everyone else is selling.
That's fine. Do the "Do this now" tasks from every free Look, post your videos for two weeks, and come back when you're ready to build properly. This course stays free.
This page counts anonymous visits and progress (no names or contact details) so the course can be improved.
